Dear colleagues,
We are excited to announce the Call for Sessions for the Vienna Anthropology Days, September 28 - October 1, 2020. It is our pleasure to welcome Kirsten Hastrup from the University of Copenhagen with her Keynote speech on "Environmental Challenges to Anthropology: Elusive Places, Uncertain Times, Hybrid Fields".
VANDA aims at bringing together scholars from various fields of anthropology, social sciences and humanities. We are dedicated to creating a conference that is as green and socially inclusive as possible. Furthermore, we aim at offering opportunities for exchange and networking among the participants through a wide variety of social activities. Finally, we want to draw your attention to our Young Scholars’ Forum. This forum serves as a space for graduate students to network, and improve their academic competences.
We are eager to receive your session submissions (deadline March 1st) and encourage you to share our announcement with any interested parties. As we also wish to promote participation in the Young Scholars‘ Forum, we kindly ask you to forward this information to your graduate student representative bodies.
Best regards,
Your VANDA Team
