Katharine Briggs Award

Many excellent books were entered for this year's Katharine Briggs Award. Here is the short list:

The winner will be announced on Wednesday 8 November 2017 at The Warburg Institute, after our annual Katharine Briggs Lecture.
This year’s Katharine Briggs Lecture will be given by Prof. Nick Groom (University of Exeter): “Hallowe’en and Valentine: The Culture of Saints’ Days in the English-Speaking World. The lecture will begin at 5:30 p.m. at The Warburg Institute.
After the lecture, the judges’ report on the books short listed for the Katharine Briggs Award will be read out, followed by a wine reception and buffet supper during which the winner will be announced.
