Call for Papers - The Genealogy and Local History Section with the Asia & Oceania Section invites proposals for WLIC 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, August 13-19.
Session theme: "The Social Web: its relevance for family, oral and local history".
The accepted papers will, as usual be published on the IFLA document library. To encourage interaction and debate at the conference session, the session will be using a lightning talk model - there will be (a maximum of) ten presentations, each allowed no more than 7 or 8 minutes.
Individual presentations should focus on a few central ideas or theses related to the theme of the session. This style of talk is also known as PechaKucha.
