North Atlantic Fiddle Convention Online Workshop on Memory

On Thursday, 9 June, the Elphinstone Institute at the University of Aberdeen will host a free online North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFCo) event for artists, scholars, researchers, teachers, and practitioners with an interest in fiddle and dance studies.

Session 1 - Keynote Address: David C. Rubin, Juanita M. Kreps Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, USA, 'The Role of Memory in Oral Traditions'
Session 2 - In the Hot Seat: Presentations on 'Memory' by Byron Dueck, Jo Miller, and Colin Quigley, with responses by David Rubin.
